The Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road Regulations 2007 (S.I. No. 288 of 2007):

All companies which carry out the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road or the related loading or unloading of Dangerous Goods must have appointed a properly qualified Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser (DGSA). The DGSA must hold a vocational training certificate (VTC) for the modes of transport concerned and the classes of Dangerous Goods carried.
